Un intervento rispettoso dell’identità storica di una villa veneta Vidman Zenobio Albrizzi. Il progetto ha riguardato il recupero architettonico e funzionale degli spazi, con attenzione ai materiali originali e agli equilibri con materiali nuovi. Una sintesi tra memoria storica e nuove esigenze d’uso.

Situata a Noventa Vicentina, località Saline, in provincia di Vicenza, questa villa storica rappresenta un esempio significativo di architettura tra tardo Medioevo e primo Rinascimento, risalente al 1400. La proprietà, che nel corso dei secoli è stata dei Widman, Zenobio, Albrizzi e successivamente Busato, ha conservato elementi originali come murature in laterizio, travi lignee e cornici in pietra che segnano antichi passaggi, tutte tracce storiche volutamente lasciate a vista per mantenere viva la memoria del passato.
Il progetto di ristrutturazione della villa a Noventa Vicentina ha dovuto affrontare numerosi ostacoli, sia strutturali che distributivi, tipici del recupero di beni storici tutelati. L’intervento è stato studiato per valorizzare l’apparato decorativo preesistente e per eseguire modifiche leggere, prevalentemente di tipo distributivo, con rivestimenti mirati e manutenzione degli impianti.
Allo stesso tempo, lo Studio Cacurio ha introdotto elementi di raffinata progettazione contemporanea: le superfici orizzontali sono state trattate con cemento resina, in elegante contrasto con l’intonaco chiaro delle pareti, creando un dialogo armonioso tra tradizione e modernità. Per completare l’intervento, sono stati inseriti arredi su misura e punti luce a LED, studiati per valorizzare le caratteristiche architettoniche storiche e per enfatizzare la bellezza degli spazi interni.
Il risultato è un perfetto equilibrio tra elementi costruttivi tradizionali e finiture contemporanee, dove la ristrutturazione di villa storica a Noventa Vicentina rispetta l’identità originale dell’edificio pur introducendo funzionalità e comfort moderni. L’intervento rappresenta un esempio di come il recupero di beni storici tutelati possa coniugare storia, architettura e design contemporaneo, valorizzando il territorio di Vicenza e la località Saline attraverso una nuova vita dell’edificio.
Architectural Technical Report
Located in Noventa Vicentina, in the Saline area of Vicenza, this historic villa represents an important example of architecture from the late Middle Ages to the early Renaissance, dating back to the 1400s. Over the centuries, the property belonged to the Widman, Zenobio, Albrizzi, and later Busato families, preserving original elements such as brick masonry, wooden beams, and stone frames marking ancient passages. These historical traces have been intentionally left visible in order to keep alive the memory of the building’s origins.
The project of renovating a historic villa in Noventa Vicentina involved numerous challenges, both structural and distributive, which are typical of the restoration of listed heritage buildings. The design approach was focused on enhancing the existing decorative apparatus while introducing only light interventions, mainly related to space distribution, surface finishes, and system maintenance.
At the same time, Studio Cacurio integrated refined elements of contemporary design. The horizontal surfaces were finished with cement resin, creating an elegant contrast with the light plaster walls, thus establishing a dialogue between tradition and modernity. To complete the restoration, custom-made furniture and carefully placed LED lighting were added to highlight the architectural details and enhance the beauty of the interiors.
The result is a perfect balance between traditional construction elements and modern finishes, where the heritage restoration in Noventa Vicentina respects the historical identity of the villa while introducing modern functionality and comfort. This project is a clear example of how the renovation of historic villas in Vicenza can successfully combine history, architecture, and contemporary interior design in Italy, giving new life to a protected heritage site and enhancing the cultural value of the Saline area of Noventa Vicentina.
